Avoiding Television is almost inevitable for most people, as they stay tuned for hours. That includes virtually every family member, from the kids to the grandparents. It’s both got upsides and downsides. Let’s continue with the children side of the issue in part 2 of this series, as our next generation is what we all take utmost care about, even more than what we do for ourselves.

In the previous edition, you read about some of the pros and cons of watching TV for your kids. Here’s more.

Your kid’s mind might become inactive by TV viewing, as it keeps your child away from learning how to take the initiative, or to mentally struggle with problems, and even from critical thinking and being imaginative.

However, if you have your preschool kids watch programs that are instructive, they will most probably be more inclined to watch the same types of programs when they get older.

Furthermore, TV programs might well be utilized to complement what the kids learn at school.

Beware not to keep watching entertainment only. This will, according to research findings, institute a perspective in your children to avoid educational or informative programs in the future.

Put in a nutshell, give your family a balanced dose of entertainment and instructive programs, as both are necessary and none should be abandoned at the price of the other.

There will be more on screens and children, in the future parts of this series of articles. Come back here often. You can read the next part next week, right here.
